Uruguay coach Oscar Washington Tabarez has backed Napoli's interest in 17 year-old whiz Abel Hernandez.

Tabarez said: "I do not know, I can only say that Abel is a young attacker of 17 years playing for a small club like Central Espanol. He has a lot of skill, has a good shot, but now I know that he was put under contract by a pool of agents.

"Certainly he has a lot of potential, I think in a few years he will be ready for a big European club, and if he goes to Napoli, it will be a big move."
