Stoke City defender Matthew Upson is unsure how they will handle progress in the Europa League.
Stoke hold a 1-0 lead over Swiss side FC Thun from the first leg and Upson knows foreign sides will not like playing in front of the Britannia crowd.
The former Arsenal defender said: "Everyone knows they'll have a tough time here. The problem the manager has is the detriment European football will have on the Premier League with the travelling and the fatigue.
"There's a lot of extra games if we make it to the group stages. That's one of the biggest concerns this season and is very important to the club."
