Defender Matthew Upson is stressing that the fans support as West Ham battle the drop is vital to the club. The 31-year-old told the Daily Express: "As long as our attitude is right and we give 100 per cent, the fans are happy.
"They want to see quality for sure but first and foremost they want to see us giving everything for the club.
"I can assure you we are doing that. The games are coming thick and fast and you can't really think beyond the game in front of you.
"The fans have been a constant all year. We haven't given them too much to shout about but their support is always valued.
"It has been a major part of us getting some good results both home and away lately."
