Hull City boss Phil Brown has demoted his unwanted players to train with the club's youth team.
The Hull Daily Mail says Caleb Folan, Peter Halmosi, Bryan Hughes and Nathan Doyle have all been told they are free to find new clubs.
And yesterday they were left completely out of the first-team frame as manager Phil Brown tries to prompt their exits.
On-loan defender Ibrahima Sonko was also training with the youth team after being told he will not play for the Tigers again.
That means City have about £2m of their annual £39m wage bill being taken up by players who will never feature in the top flight.
Halmosi earns around £20,000-per-week, Hughes picks up in the region of £16,000 and Folan is believed to be around the same mark.
