Univision and Chivas agree broadcasting deal

According to reports in Mexico, Chivas de Guadalajara FC has agreed a US$80 million contract with US television network Univision, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. The deal will reportedly run for five years and has already begun across all Univision's platforms. It covers league games, Copa Mexico matches and the club's worldwide friendly games in multiple languages.

"This deal shows Univision's commitment to bring the best and most relevant programming to Hispanic audiences," said César Conde, the president of Univision.

"We are pleased to continue offering culturally relevant content that our audiences demand, and also create opportunities for our partners to connect with the fastest growing segment in the country."
