Universidad de Chile star Eduardo Vargas insists he's joining Napoli.

Inter Milan have been attempting to close a late agreement for the Chile international.

"I can't wait," the forward grinned on television station Chile Vision. "I will complete the transfer to Napoli in the first days of January.

"I am happy to come to Italy, as they play a spectacular style of football there."

Vargas had also been heavily linked with Europe's top clubs, including Chelsea and Inter.

"I never thought of going anywhere else. I am happy and at the same time impatient to join Napoli."
