'Unique' Traore lauded by Wolves teammates Doherty & Coady

Wolves duo Matt Doherty and Conor Coady have praised Adama Traore following his winning goal against West Ham United on Saturday.

The 22-year-old, signed from Middlesbrough for £18m, scored deep into stoppage time at the London Stadium to pinch all three points for the newly promoted club.

"He's unique. You just can't stop him. You see how many people are trying to take him down, he either gets away or gets fouled," Doherty told Express & Star .

"He's one of a kind, we haven't seen anything like him before. It's scary. It certainly helps when you've got a player coming off the bench who can run the whole length of the pitch before anybody even gets halfway."

Coady added: "I wouldn't want him running at me, believe me.

"He's so quick but it's his decision-making as well, he's got total confidence in his own ability which I think is special as well.

"He's a real asset to this football club.

"The options we've got going forward at the minute are fantastic, you see Jota and Costa doing what they do and then Traore off the bench, it's pleasing to see."
