Thomas Ince is threatening to quit Liverpool.
His Dad, Notts County boss Paul Ince, has revealed they've rejected a new contract offer as Thomas plays on-loan at Meadow Lane.
Ince said: "They are protecting their asset. He has been outstanding here - different class.
"His Liverpool contract finishes at the end of the season and they have said if he signs another contract he can come back here.
"We have had an offer which I find derisory. So he is not going to sign it and will wait until the end of the season.
"The kid loves Liverpool but it has to be right for him. I don't want to get in a slanging match with them."
