Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez was content after being held to a 0-0 draw by Wolves in the league on Tuesday.
The Reds looked the better of the teams early on but Mick McCarthy's side managed to hold out the advances of the Anfield mob who had captain Steven Gerrard back on the pitch.
Benitez said Gerrard would only get better after recovering from a hamstring injury and also admitted that even though they did not record three points, the fact they had not been beaten in five league games was a real positive.
"It was a tough game - we were in control for the first half, but in the second half they were pushing and it was a fair result," he said.
"It was positive for us that Gerrard is back, but you could see that he needs to improve his match fitness.
"We know Stevie is a key player for us, and if he can train properly in the week we will see the benefit of that. Five games undefeated in the League, and another clean sheet, is something to build on."
