Everton academy graduate Tom Davies was in a wonderland after scoring his first senior goal for the club in the 4-0 win over Manchester City on Sunday.
The 18-year-old midfielder capped off an incredible performance with a brilliant effort in the 79th minute of the game, which almost saw Romelu Lukaku tap in his attempt.
“Rom has tried to nick it off me but there is no chance I am giving it up!" Davies told EvertonTV.
“It was great to get the three points and in such good fashion. To get a goal as well is unbelievable.
“As I was watching the ball roll towards the goal I just remember thinking 'I hope Rom doesn't touch this!'
“It is an unbelievable feeling."
