Almeria coach Unai Emery was delighted with star striker Antonio Negredo after his performance in yesterday's 2-0 defeat of Osasuna.
Negredo won a penalty, which was converted by Felipe Melo, before hitting the settling second goal later in the second-half.
Emery said of the former Real Madrid B forward: "With this win, we've gained new respect across the Liga.
"It was a fantastic goal by Negredo. I'm delighted for him because he was getting a little anxious after scoring in the first two weeks."
