Umpha Koroma is catching the eye at Stoke City academy.
The energetic midfielder hit a last-minute winner against Derby County last week.
Manager Adrian Pennock told The Sentinel: "Umpha is a first-year trainee and a very tenacious midfielder with an excellent engine on him. He'll run all day.
"He's growing in confidence and has been patient in waiting for his chance to play.
"He's a very likeable lad in the changing room, someone who's always smiling, so everybody jumped on him at the end to celebrate."
