Umbro is distancing itself from Chelsea captain John Terry.
The Telegraph says Terry, who faces a trial over allegations that he racially abused QPR's Anton Ferdinand, has been sidelined by boot sponsor Umbro.
His deal, worth in the region of £4 million, will remain in place pending his trial in July following England's Euro 2012 campaign in Poland/Ukraine.
The Chelsea defender's current boot contract, in place since he was a teenager, is understood to expire this summer but the firm has refused to comment on whether the deal will be renewed. Terry, 31, was used by Umbro to promote the new England away kit last August, but will not appear in its current campaign, the company announced yesterday.
