Ulsan coach Kim Ho Gwon confident of getting result against Newcastle

Ulsan Hyundai coach Kim Ho Gwon is confident his undermanned side can achieve a positive result in their second Asian Champions League match tonight.

The K-League side meets Newcastle Jets at EnergyAustralia Stadium tonight coming off a 3-1 loss to Japanese club Nagoya Grampus at home last week and will bring a much-changed squad with them.

Twelve players from the Nagoya game will stay at home but Gwon is still confident whoever he plays will get the job done.

"The ACL and K-League are both important but I can't just concentrate on the ACL, I have to think about the next game in the K-League," said Gwon.

"We have 30 players registered for the ACL and every player is playing regularly and is a professional so I am not worried about it."

In saying that, Gwon was still impressed by the Jets side that went down 2-0 to Beijing Guoan last week.

"I think the Newcastle side is very good and I watched their match against Beijing last week and thought they were good," he added.

"They have a really good balance in offense and defence and they have a very good physical presence especially on the long pass.

"I think the dangers will be the strikers Sasho Petrovski and Donny De Groot as well as Fabio Vignaroli."
