Ujpest striker Bence Szabo joins Wolves on-loan

Ujpest striker Bence Szabo has signed with Wolves on-loan to January.

The Birmingham Mail says the 19-year-old follows in the footsteps of Krisztian Simon, who spent four months at Molineux last season.

An informal partnership between the clubs has seen young defender Scott Malone playing in the Hungarian First Division in the past.

Bence will be training with the Academy and is delighted.

"I am very happy to be over here at a big professional club in the Premier League," he said. "I'm looking forward to doing my best and getting some good experience.

"It's important for me to settle in and see how things go. Krisztian is a good friend of mine who I sat next to in the dressing room and I've spoken to him a lot about Wolves.

"He's gone back to Ujpest and is now very near to the first team. It's difficult being away from home but as a professional player you have to do things to improve yourself."
