Manchester City signing Gabriel Jesus has been injured in action for Palmeiras.

Sky Sports says Gabriel was carried off yesterday during current Palmeiras' 0-0 draw at Gremio with a groin injury.

Palmeiras will assess the injury today to determine how serious the issue is.

The 19-year-old signed for City for £27m last month and is remaining with Palmeiras on loan until January then moving to the Etihad.
