UEFA's Platini: Some Croatian fans are a**holes

UEFA president Michel Platini has labelled some sections of Croatia's supporters as a**holes.

Last Thursday's Euro2012 clash with Italy has put about 500 Croatian fans under investigation for alleged racial abuse towards Mario Balotelli and Platini now feels let down after visiting the country last year and warning the supporters of their behaviour.

"I'm not happy for Croatia. I was in Croatia a year ago and I'm not happy," said Platini.

"They have a good team which plays well, but it's unacceptable when you've got a hundred or so a**holes among the crowd.

"They (the Croatian federation) knew (it could happen).

"Any form of racism is a problem. One case is too many."
