Chelsea skipper John Terry will learn today if his UEFA club ban is to be extended.

The defender missed the final win over Bayern Munich through the automatic one-match ban which resulted from his red card in the semi-final second leg against Barcelona.

UEFA's control and disciplinary body will meet today and the governing body have the power to extend the punishment.

A further suspension would rule the England international out of the Super Cup against Atletico Madrid in Monaco on August 31 and possibly part of the group stage of the Champions League.
