Racist chants made towards Italy striker Mario Balotelli and Czech Republic defender Theodor Gebre Selassie are being investigated by UEFA.
Monkey chants directed at Manchester City's Balotelli were heard during Italy's 1-1 draw with Spain on Sunday whilst Slovan Liberec full-back Gebre Selassie has claimed that he noticed racist calls directed at him during his side's clash with Russia on Friday.
"There are, however, no disciplinary proceedings opened at this moment in time.""Following the provision of new independent information today, regarding the two cases of alleged racist chanting in the Spain-Italy and Russia-Czech Republic matches, UEFA is now conducting further investigations," read a UEFA statement.
No official complaint has been made to UEFA by either the Italy or Czech Republic football associations.
