Udinese midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino admits some sympathy for crisis club Roma after thumping them 3-1 on the weekend.

D'Agostino said: "Each year has a story in itself, they have gone from being one of best teams in Europe to living this moment ... They must stay united to overcome this crisis.

"I have experienced an even worse period at Roma, I experienced a year of four coaches, the relegation nightmare ... After all I paid in the first person that season, I was one of the most criticized, often without reason, and because of that I was forced to leave.

"I know all about that environment."
