Udinese has defeated Dinamo Zagreb 2-1 overnight to secure qualification to the next phase of the UEFA Cup.
After four consecutive losses in the Serie A, a victory was paramount for the Friuli club and goals to Fabio Quagliarella and Chris Obodo were enough to secure the win.
Coach Pasquale Marino was understandably relieved with the win.
"It was important to win and let the players regain the confidence in their own abilities," said Marino.
"When you don't get results, it takes a little while to find your rhythm again. Today we did that. It is a victory that counts above all for our morale."
