Udinese defender Maurizio Domizzi feels the Premier League is the best stage for team-mate Alexis Sanchez to parade his skills. Manchester City and Barcelona are among the clubs leading the race to sign the Chile international.
Reports in Italy claim the 22-year-old would prefer a move to Spain rather than England.
"It's normal that a player like him is fascinated by Barcelona," Domizzi told Sky Sport 24.
"But a player of his characteristics would have more impact in England than with respect to the Spanish or Italian league."
The highly-rated winger is under contract with Udinese until June 2014 and is valued at 50million euros.
