Udinese striker Quagliarella welcomes praise from Inter Milan president Moratti

Udinese striker Fabio Quagliarella has welcomed praise from Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti.

"It was emotional to hear Moratti say my name," Quagliarella told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "I think of Inter as the queen of Italy.

"It was like dreaming with your eyes open. Inter are a solid team. They are close knit and have a great trainer. Mourinho makes me fall in love. He has courage. He never runs away."

When asked if he feels ready to play in the Champions League, Quagliarella replied: "I was already two years ago after 35 games and 13 goals for Sampdoria.

"I am also ready in my head. My career has been one without shortcuts. No one has ever given me anything."
