Udinese striker Antonio di Natale is set to finish the season as Italy's top scorer.
The Italian international ended the last campaign as the Capocannoniere with 29 strikes and he leads the charts again with two games left.
"My 28 goals are for all those people who said that I would find it tough to net just 10 this season," the former Empoli man noted.
Di Natale, who has netted five penalties this term, is two goals ahead of Napoli's Edinson Cavani and eight clear of Inter ace Samuel Eto'o.
Cavani's season is over after receiving a three-match ban yesterday.
