Danilo went into meltdown mode at Udinese training yesterday.

The Brazilian defender went into a series of crunching tackles on Ali Adnan, Adalberto Penaranda and Francesco Lodi, leaving all of them in need of treatment.

A scuffle broke out and the bounce game was abandoned twice due to an argument between Danilo and Lodi.

“We expect an apology from the player and that is the absolute minimum," said director of sport Nereo Bonato.

“There will also be a fine, but before any other action we will try to understand what caused this inexplicable attitude. Tomorrow we will talk to the player."
