On loan Udinese defender Mahamadou Sissoko is keen to return to Kilmarnock on a permanent deal.
The 22-year old Frenchman has appeared in 28 matches for Killie this season and is loving his time at Rugby Park so much that he wants to land their permanently.
"It wouldn't upset me at all if I had the chance to stay in Scotland with Kilmarnock, " he told the Daily Record.
"I've enjoyed my time here and have made some good friends. I like Scottish football and I'm settled. The only issue is I don't know what Udinese want to do.
"My agent is speaking to them because I'm still under contract and if they want a lot of money for me it will make it hard for Kilmarnock or anyone else to sign me.
"I just have to wait and see what happens but I want to try to get fit again before the end of the season and play.
"I went to Italy for 10 days to see a specialist and I've returned to full training in the past few days.
"I'm hoping I can come back on Saturday but if not I will definitely be looking to get back the following week because I've missed playing."
