Udinese midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino admits he was surprised by the sacking of Gianni de Biasi.

D'Agostino is recovering from injury and was not in the country for De Biasi's dismissal.

He told TMW: "I was in Barcelona. I don't know how it went, but these are things that happen in football.

"Right now we shouldn't look at the past, but turn ourselves towards the future and try to reach safety as soon as possible."
