Udinese reveal English offer for D'Agostino

An English club and an Italian club are battling out for the signature of Udinese playmaker, Gaetano D'Agostino. The Friuli outfit were in negotiations with Juventus over the transfer of the 27-year-old to Turin, but the deal has fallen through because the bid was considered too low.

"We have one offer from England and another one from an important Italian club," said Udinese owner Giampaolo Pozzo. "Anything can happen."

Pozzo was unimpressed by the offer made by Juve.

"I am perplexed by the low value set by Juventus executives for the player," he said.

"The difference between the asking price and the offer is huge. "I have the impression that Juve have not thought about the real value of our midfielder."
