Udinese president Giampaolo Pozzo is thrilled with his team's achievements in the last week.

Udinese are now top of Serie A, just days after qualifying for the UEFA Cup group stages.

"We would love to stay at these heights in the table," he declared. "I can only say that the team has the right winning mentality.

"We just have to keep showing the character that was clear when we played Borussia Dortmund and we never gave up.

"I'm very happy with the Coach. He works well and the results are coming because of that.

"Our recipe for success is that we have done well in fishing for talent outside Italy.

"Using the global market allows us to create the right ratio of price against quality and I think it is crucial to mix the foreigners and the Italians."
