Udinese president Giampaolo Pozzo says they are prepared to sell winger Alexis Sanchez in the summer.
The race for the Chile international is set to kickoff in earnest next week once the winter market closes.
Sanchez has ambitions to play for Manchester United, while Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti admitted his admiration for the winger on the weekend.
Pozzo revealed: "Sanchez is proving his value, but not until June will we talk about selling him.
"And as expensive as he will be, there is also the financial fair play rules, so I hope that in June the others desist and he stays here another year."
