Udinese patron Giampaolo Pozzo is determined to keep their squad together.
“I hope that Sanchez, for example, stays with us,” Pozzo told Radio Anch’io Lo Sport on Monday.
“I think it would be useful for him to stay another year in Udine. He’d enjoy himself and he would be able to taste European football in a calm manner.
“If individuals want to leave then we will have replacements and market options, but it is fundamental that the important players remain.”
Pozzo added: “Hopefully, if we qualify for the Champions League, then that would give them something to think about.
“However, the ambition of every great player is to play for a big club.
