Udinese No2 Dejan Stankovic is happy seeing Roberto Mancini back in charge of Inter Milan.
Stankovic played for Mancini during his previous spell in charge.
"I think he is the right man," Stankovic told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Firstly because he's a great Coach and he didn't just prove that with Inter. Secondly he knows the club and everything around it, which can make an enormous difference when you don't have time to lose.
"Thirdly he wanted to come back to work. That's like a monkey on your back that you cannot easily shake off. Fourthly, he wanted to work in Italy again, as he missed some things about his country and maybe had a few things to get off his chest after time away.
"Fifth, Mancini has gained experience in the meantime, including on the international stage, and you can't buy that on the market.
"This is what Inter and its fans needed, to rediscover an emotional connection with their Coach."
