Udinese have named Francesco Guidolin as new coach.

This is a return to the Stadio Friuli for Guidolin, who was already in charge of the squad in 1998-99.

"Udinese Calcio announce that a deal has been reached for the next two seasons with Francesco Guidolin, the new Coach of this team," read a statement.

"Joining him will be a staff made up of assistant manager Diego Bortoluzzi, goalkeeping trainer Lorenzo Di Iorio, fitness coaches Adelio Diamante and Claudio Bordon.

"We give Guidolin the warmest 'welcome home' from Udinese and all its fans."
