Udinese midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino still has World Cup hopes, despite being out for some weeks with injury.

D'Agostino has not had the chance to shine in the current season but he feels Marcello Lippi still has faith in him.

"I am still hopeful," claimed D'Agostino.

"I know I don't have many chances to go, considering that I am not playing. But I am recovering from an injury and will not play until I am fully fit.

"I really dream to go to South Africa but Lippi may opt for players who have done more this year."
