Udinese coach Guidolin thrilled with dramatic win over Inter Milan

Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin was thrilled with their 1-0 win over Inter Milan.

It was a dramatic 1-0 finale with Mauricio Isla's goal, then Antonio Di Natale's spot-kick was saved and Javier Zanetti sent off.

Guidolin remarked: "It was a heart-stopping match and I am satisfied with the performance from my players. I'm particularly happy with Isla, who I think can become a sort of Simone Perrotta character with seven or eight goals per season."

Udinese are now joint top of the table alongside Milan, awaiting the Juventus game against Cesena on Sunday.

"It doesn't happen every day for Udinese to beat Inter at San Siro," he said of their first victory here since 2004.

"Being top is marvellous and we are notching up the points consistently. It's particularly good that we got this result when 72 hours ago we were on a plane back from France. Having said that, let's just live in the present and not look to the future."
