Udinese coach Guidolin pleased with Cagliari stalemate

Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin was happy with the point earned from their 0-0 draw with Cagliari.

The Friulani were held to a goalless game at the Stadio Sant'Elia and remain joint Serie A leaders with Juventus.

"It's a good result, as this is a difficult arena and Cagliari are a well-organised team," said Guidolin.

"Perhaps we felt the weight of so many games in the fixture list. I feared this match partly due to the climate, as we were coming from the cold to the heat of Sardinia.

"We've had a good start to the season, there's no point denying that, as last season at this stage we didn't have any points and now we're on eight.

"I realise people would like to hear something different from me, but Udinese have to focus on other objectives. We hope to become a strong side."
