Udinese chief scout Carnevale: Romania big talent market

Udinese chief scout Andrea Carnevale says Hungary and Romania are two of the hottest markets for young talent anywhere in the world.

Carnevale, who heads Udinese's thriving youth system, told calciomercato.com: "Hungary and Romania are two markets we're focused on, and in particular Romanian football is very good from a technical point of view and have youngsters hungry for success and a market to pick up talent at affordable prices.

"We're following the U15s in Argentina and Brazil. However, by the time they get to 17 or 18, their prices are already too high for a club like Udinese. For example, we were following Alexandre Pato for several seasons before he went to AC Milan."
