Udinese sports chief Pietro Leonardi has dismissed the confirmed interest of Fiorentina rival Pantaleo Corvino in defender Christian Zapata.

"Corvino's comments have been misinterpreted," said Leonardi. "It's natural he would be interested.

"But we want to have a good championship and in order to do so we need Zapata here."
