Udinese chief Larini denies Watford buyout talks

Udinese director Fabrizio Larini has denied reports the Pozzo family are in talks to buy Watford.

The reports had swirled around in both the British and Italian media over the last few days.

“Are the Pozzo family interested in Watford? We have been linked with other English clubs too, but these are all journalistic rumours,” assured Larini.

The Pozzo family own Udinese and Spanish side Granada, as they’ve been at the helm in Friuli since 1986.
