Udinese are chasing Racing Avellaneda midfielder Claudio Yacob.
The highly-rated midfielder has long been linked with a move to Europe.
Itasportpress says Udinese are preparing a bid for Yacob.
The 23-year-old has a price-tag of 8m, but Udinese hope Racing Avellaneda will accept their 6m offer.
In recent months Yacob has also been linked with Serie A sides Palermo, Napoli and Catania.
