Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin is waiting to see if Gokhan Inler will leave the club today.

A fee for Inler was agreed with Napoli a month ago, but he has struggled to sign off on personal terms, so has been given Monday's deadline to finalise the transfer.

Guidolin said: "On the one side, I'm happy for any player who is ready to make that step up on the career ladder, but on the other I'd be happy if he stayed.

"Inler was very respectful and kind to me during the summer holidays, as he often called me to keep up to date with the situation. At the moment, though, I cannot say anything."
