Japan young gun Atsuto Uchida has signed a three-year deal with German Bundesliga club FC Schalke.
The 22-year old right-back will join the Germans from J-League club Kashima Antlers for an undisclosed fee after signing the deal whilst on duty at the World Cup.
Uchida becomes the first Japanese player to sign with Schalke and is the fourth new player to join the club this summer.
