Tyias Browning is giving himself every chance to make it at Everton this season.

The defender has returned early for preseason to be part of the U21s' trip to Austria.

"It was more for my benefit really," the England Under-21 international told evertontv. "I knew Unsy would put me through my paces. I like working with him and I knew it would be a challenge.

"I wanted a head start, to come back ready and fit to go. I want to be ready for the games in Singapore because they are more opportunities for me."
