Arsenal hero Thierry Henry believes that Chelsea captain John Terry has been the best defender in the league this year, two years after he was written off.
The 34-year old defender was told by Rafael Benitez that he was incapable of playing two games in a week just a couple of years ago while other critics suggested he was well past his prime.
But Terry has proved his doubters wrong by lifting the Premier League trophy aloft with the Blues which resonated well with Henry.
"Two years ago people thought he was done, and long gone," Henry told Sky Sports.
"For him to be here again, being a champion - he didn't just participate, he played every single minute.
"That's just crazy. He was again in the team of the year, the best defender for me this season."
Terry equalled former Manchester United star Roy Keane's record of captaining a side to four Premier League titles after a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.
