Ezequiel Lavezzi was thrilled with Napoli's victory over Champions League opponents Chelsea.

El Pocho bagged a brace in tonight's 3-1 win, fighting back from a Juan Mata opener to give the Partenopei a solid first leg lead.

"I expected a victory tonight and was confident," revealed Lavezzi. "I think Chelsea are a strong side and it is not over yet.

"We have a good advantage, but we need to go and take the initiative and score at least a goal in London to secure qualification to the next round.

"The Coach told us to help out the team with our defensive movement. We all gave a hand at the back, because that's what we needed to have a great game. I'd say we achieved it."
