Two-goal Eto'o rescues point for Barcelona

Samuel Eto'o rescued a point for Barcelona after banging home a brace in their 2-2 draw with Real Betis. The Cameroon international struck twice after Betis had gone 2-0 ahead through goals from Melli and Mark Gonzalez.

"The important thing is that the team continue to move forward," said Eto'o. "(Pep) Guardiola asked me to open the field and I was told that if Leo (Messi) was on the wing, I was more likely to score. And it went well.

"It is best to move forward. A match less and we continue to move forward."
