Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser believes that a gamble over his fitness paid off against Leicester City.
Fraser was almost unable to play due to a hamstring knock.
But he had a late fitness test before the game and was declared fit to play.
The 24-year-old produced a stunning display, with two goals and an assist in a 4-2 win.
He told the Daily Echo: "It was 50-50 whether I was going to play. I came through my first day on Friday.
"Me and the gaffer made the decision that it was worth taking the risk. It was an important game and the risk paid off.
"We have always been a team to score goals but this season is different.
"We are creating so much more and are finishing as well, which is one thing we have lacked in the past couple of seasons."
