Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has angered the club's supporters over comments he made in the post-match press conference following his side's exit from the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The Red Devils were beaten 2-0 at home by Sevilla in the last-16 round, courtesy of two goals from Wissam Ben Yedder.
Speaking after the match, Mourinho strangely connected United's loss to their past defeats against teams he'd managed, namely Porto and Real Madrid.
"It's not the end of the world. I sit in this chair twice in the Champions League and I knock out Man Utd at home, at Old Trafford," the Man United boss told reporters.
"I sit in this chair with Porto - Man Utd out - I sit in this chair with Real Madrid - Man Utd out... So I don't think it's something new for the club. Of course, being Manchester United manager and losing a Champions League tie at home is a delusion obviously."
And fans are not happy about what they perceive as a lack of respect for the club. Some have even gone as far to suggest Mourinho should quit…
Whoever suggested Mourinho to be a Manchester United coach in the first place needs a sack. The man got outdated and conservative boring tactics. His tactics are indeed a crime against football

It's all about me, even when he gets beaten at home he has to talk about when he won, how disrespectful to MUFC

It's a disgrace. He has no rights to be blatant there following the failure. And this failure is a consequence of the way he setup the team.

Sack him. We've sacked two in the last 4 years and it's nothing new

What he said post match about beating United with other teams is worse than match result.

Jose has officially lost me, as well as I know he has lost many others. Comments like that show he thinks he's bigger than us, and no one is bigger than our club! He can get right out of our great club. IMO most the fan cams from yesterday said exactly how we're all feeling.

Not what you want to hear as a season ticket holder having to sit through that debacle last night.
I wanted to hear him admit he'd got it wrong

He's not in United's class. Simple. Too arrogant. Tactics and team completely wrong. Get rid of him #Joseout
