Newcastle United must double their bid to land FC Twente striker Luuk de Jong.
The Sun says Steve McClaren has told Newcastle to double their De Jong bid.
FC Twente, managed by the ex-England boss, rejected £8million for the Dutch striker, 21.
De Jong scored 24 goals in 25 games last term.
