FC Twente are watching Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes' progress at Hoffenheim.

Gomes accepts his time at Spurs is over and Twente hope to bring the former PSV Eindhoven star back to the Eredivisie in the summer.

Twente see the Brazilian as a replacement for Nikolay Mihaylov, who is ready to move to a bigger stage at the end of the season.

Gomes made his debut for Hoffenheim in victory over SC Freiburg on the weekend.
